About Alerty
Walking home shouldn't take concentration
Most personal safety products ask too much of you. An app you have to unlock. A device you have to pair. Something sharp you'd have to be willing to use. All of it assumes you'll have a clear head and two free hands at the exact moment you don't.
Alerty assumes the opposite. One pull, in a pocket, in the dark, with gloves on, without looking. That's the whole design brief.
What we actually believe
Noise works. The thing that most reliably ends a bad situation early is other people noticing. A 130dB siren and a strobe do that better than anything you could shout.
It has to be on you. A safety device in a drawer is a decoration. So Alerty is small, light, clips to keys, and charges over USB-C with the cable you already own — because a flat battery is the most common way these things fail.
No fear-selling. We're not going to show you statistics designed to frighten you into checkout. Alerty is a useful, boring, well-made object. Carry it and mostly forget about it.
What Alerty isn't
It isn't a weapon, and we won't pretend it replaces calling emergency services. It's an attention device — it buys you the two things that matter most: people looking, and a reason to walk away.
