How do I set it off?

Pull the pin — the loop separates from the body and the siren and strobe start immediately. There's no button sequence and nothing to unlock.

How do I turn it off?

Push the pin back into the body. It resets and is ready to use again straight away.

How loud is 130dB, really?

Roughly the level of a jet engine heard from a short distance. It's designed to be impossible to ignore from across a car park. Please don't test it next to your ear or anyone else's — hold it at arm's length, and keep it away from pets and small children's ears.

Could I set it off by accident?

The pin needs a deliberate pull, so accidental activation in a bag is uncommon. If it does happen, pushing the pin back in stops it instantly.

How do I charge it?

Any USB-C cable and a normal phone charger. There's a low-battery reminder so you get warning before it runs flat. Topping it up roughly monthly is plenty for everyday carry.

Is it legal to carry?

Personal alarms are legal to carry throughout the EU, the UK and the US — they're sound-and-light devices, not weapons. If you're travelling somewhere further afield it's worth a quick check of local rules before you fly.

Should I still call emergency services?

Yes. Alerty is there to draw attention and give you room to leave. It is not a substitute for emergency services — call 112 in the EU, 999 in the UK, or 911 in the US.

Is it suitable for children or older relatives?

It's simple enough for both — there's no app, no pairing and no instructions to remember. For younger children, walk through once together when and why they'd use it, and make clear it isn't a toy.

Is it waterproof?

It handles rain and everyday splashes, but it isn't rated for being submerged. Don't take it swimming or leave it in a washing machine.

Which colour should I get?

Black, White, Pink and Blue all have identical hardware — pick whichever you'll actually keep clipped to your keys.

What are Shipping Protection and Priority Shipping?

Two optional extras you can switch on in the cart. Shipping Protection covers loss, theft or damage in transit. Priority Shipping moves your order to the front of our dispatch queue. Neither is pre-selected — you're only charged if you turn them on yourself.

When will my order arrive?

What if I change my mind?

You have 30 days from delivery to send it back for a refund of the item price — and in the first 14 days your statutory right of withdrawal gets you the delivery cost back too. See Returns & Refunds.
