Right of withdrawal
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day on which you, or a third party other than the carrier designated by you, take physical possession of the goods. For multiple goods ordered together and delivered separately, the period begins on the day on which you or a third party designated by you take possession of the last item.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us (HP Ecommerce, Henry Plück, Thürpfad 3, 65199 Wiesbaden, Germany, email: alertyshop@gmail.com) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by means of a clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or an email). You may use the model withdrawal form below, but it is not mandatory.
To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your notice of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
Effects of withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (except for supplementary costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and in any event no later than fourteen days from the day on which we are informed of your decision to withdraw. We will use the same means of payment you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise; in no event will you be charged any fees for this reimbursement.
We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or until you have supplied proof of having sent them back, whichever is earlier.
You shall send back the goods or hand them over to HP Ecommerce, Henry Plück, Thürpfad 3, 65199 Wiesbaden, Germany, without undue delay and in any event no later than fourteen days from the day on which you notify us of your withdrawal. The deadline is met if you send the goods before the period of fourteen days has expired.
You bear the direct cost of returning the goods.
You are only liable for any loss in value of the goods resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods. Testing the alarm briefly at arm's length to check it works does not reduce the value of the goods.
Our voluntary 30-day return promise
In addition to the statutory right of withdrawal above, we voluntarily allow you to return your Alerty within 30 days of delivery for a refund of the item price. This promise is granted by us freely, is additional to your statutory rights, and does not restrict or replace them in any way.
To use it, tell us within 30 days of delivery by emailing alertyshop@gmail.com with your order number. The goods should be returned in resalable condition, including the charging cable and clip.
Where you return goods under this voluntary promise after the statutory fourteen-day withdrawal period has ended, we refund the item price only; original delivery costs are not reimbursed. You bear the direct cost of returning the goods.
Faulty or damaged goods
The right of withdrawal above is separate from your statutory warranty rights. If your Alerty arrives damaged or stops working as it should, email alertyshop@gmail.com with your order number and a photo or short video and we will arrange a replacement or a refund. Please contact us before returning a faulty unit at your own cost.
